Mathcad Chemistry Selection Tool (Rev. BL)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ27541

Hi, Ti team

I just use the new tool reversion. i could the get the ID with the default example?  Who can help me for this?

    Best regards

  • Jason,

What seems to be the problem? Did you intend to say that you "could not" get the default example to work? I downloaded the tool into a directory on my desktop and it ran and predicted ChemID 1164 to be the best match. What version of Mathcad are you using?

    Regards

    Tom

  • Hi, Tom

Sorry for my poor English.  My problem is exactly as what you said..  The tool version is sluc138bl.  The version of Mathcad is 14.0.  I attached file which specifies the error what I get. 7128.Mathcad - chemselect_cont_mcd11_rev36.pdf

        Thanks in advance.

        Jason

  • Jason,

A lot of your Mathcad sheet got cut out of the pdf file, but I can see a couple of things that can cause problems. Try cutting out the data at the first of the file until after the voltage has reached its' maximum value. Also cut out the data where the voltage is rising at the end.

You can send your log file and I can help as well.

  • Hi, Tom

        1) I attached the whole file, so help me to re-check the problem..

             3225.Mathcad - chemselect_cont_mcd11_rev36.pdf5557.chemselect_cont_mcd11_rev36.rar

    2) Another problem, how to create a gold pack? Can i create one with the method of bq27541? I am not sure whether this is correct.

I took one experiment like the process creating golden pack in bq27541.

a)Discharge the battery to terminal voltage. 3V/ C/5

       b) Rest with 5 hours

       c) Full charge the battery at C/2 rate.

(At the end of charge process.  I connected the battery to a load. the bit FC is cleared and the SOC is jump to 0  immediately.  Is it a normal phenomenon?  Can I go on this test? )

       d) rest with 2 hours

        e) discharge the battery to terminal voltage . 3V/ c/5

       f)  Rest with 5 hours

Note: The battery pack is calibrated and written with ID 1182.

    3) The battery pack will discharge at rate more than 5C. How to set the "Sim Rate" in the dataflash.? The default one is between C/20 to C/2.

  • Hi, Tom

About the bit "FC" is cleared at the end of charge process, the main cause is that i calculated the battery pack wrongly.
