Can I set my own desired soft start time for the TPS53353, or am I restricted to the four options listed in Table 1 of the datasheet?
Table 1 shows four possible values of Rmode and their corresponding soft start time. I had interpreted these as example values for Rmode but I'm free to choose my own value within this range. But after re-reading this I'm starting to think that I'm supposed to pick one of these values.
The reason I ask, is that I am always looking for ways to reduce the number of unique resistor values and number of external components by combining non-critical resistors into packs.
I tried it out with Rmode = 136k ohm and the regulator seems to run fine still, but I'm hoping that this is okay practice to deviate from the table.
