Hello.

1  TPS73701

①  OUT pin  GND Short
 　　What happens to operation of this device?
②　EN pin open.
    What happens to operation of this device?
③　FB　 pin open.
　　What happens to operation of this device?

2  TPS78222
①  OUT pin  GND Short
 　　What happens to operation of this device?
②　EN pin open.
    What happens to operation of this device?

    Hi Masazumi,

    TPS73701

    1. OUT shorted to GND:
      1. The device will go into current limit.  Please see the datasheet for information on the current limit.  Particularly look at Figures 12, 13, and 14.
    2. EN pin Open:
      1. The EN pin is floating.  If the voltage on EN goes above the EN pin high threshold, the device will turn on, otherwise it will remain off.  As EN is floating, the device could alternate between off and on states.
    3. FB pin open:
      1. Again as the pin is considered floating, it will depend on the actual voltage on the pin.  Most likely the device will follow Vin similar to during start-up.

    TPS7822

    1. OUT shorted to GND:
      1. The device will go into current limit.  Please see the datasheet for information on the current limit.  Particularly look at Figure 9.
    2. EN pin Open:
      1. The EN pin is floating.  If the voltage on EN goes above the EN pin high threshold, the device will turn on, otherwise it will remain off.  As EN is floating, the device could alternate between off and on states.
