Hello,
I'm designing for an application that requires extremely high accuracy (+/-2%) over load/line/temp/process. There are three rails:
1V0 >= 2.5A
2V5 >= 2.5A
3V3 >= 500mA
The parts I'm looking at are: TPS749xx (3A, 2%) TPS742xx (3A, 1%) and TPS747xx (500mA, 2%)
My question is: how is the voltage set for the fixed output variants? If the feedback resistors are simply brought on the die I suspect the tolerance will not be as tight as external 0.1% resistors. However, if the reference voltage is changed from 0.8V to match the target output voltage, then there are no feedback resistors to worry about...
Thanks,
Dave
