I want for some help in order to choose the best of TI dc-dc constant current led driver IC for my application. I will drive an eight LED series string for non invasive medical purposes. Forward current shall be from 350 up to 1000mA may be. Existing Power Source is 24VDC or 48VDC is available to drive LEDs string. LEDs are OSRAM OSLON SSL 150 LRCPDP (1W - RED).

TPS92550 seems to be an effective solution.

    Hello,

    Since the forward current of your application will be from 350mA to 1A, I think TPS92550 which can drive maximum current of 450mA may not be a good choice.

    There are two choices for you:

    1. External switch:LM3409/HV
    2. Internal switch: LM3414/HV

    Both of them support PWM and analog dimming.
