suggest an LDO for 3.3 V generation ckt with enable

Hi TI,

I wish to generate 3.3V from 5V .the current requirement is 150 - 500mA of the Load, R load =37 kohm,

Rise time w.rt Ven ,Vin < 25us (plz specify this in your ans) Suggest a surface mountable LDO with Enable, also speciify the thermal dissipation limitations

Hi Vasmi,

Take a look at TPS79933. This is one of our fastest start-up LDOs with a typical start-up time of 45us. See page 9 of the datasheet.

Hi Aaron,

I need to compare TPS76701 Adj ,fixed 3.3V and TPS76825 , TPS79933(the suggested device is not available in our stores ) also the current required is increased to 300mA (plz note the change)

Also please suggest the package D or PWP

Hi Aron,

I wish to continue in TPS76701Q . I do not need the the RESET pin can I just eliminate the 250K Ohm resistor and open end the RESET pin out
