Question: can this combo track the output of yet another power supply?

The current sharing configuration uses the master feedback resistors to set the output voltage, the slave is set up as a current source. If you set up a circuit that can feed back an error signal to the master vs your other power supply you could probably get it to track the output voltage.
Basically you would need to add another resistor to the top feedback resistor of the master to change the output voltage. See
