Shutdown current at LM25011

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM25011

Hi

The SS pin can be used to shutdown the LM25011.
Could you tell me the shutdown current?

Best regards,

  • Hello,

Looking through the datasheet the SS pin can be used to shut the device off by pulling it low meaning that the voltage of the SS stays below the triggering threshold for the device to run.

Looking at the datasheet on Pg. 4 the SS pin will dissipate 10 uA through the current source that is used to charge the soft start capacitor. The top of this page also provides a non-switching power consumption of the device through he Vin pin of about 1.2-1.6 mA which would reflect an idea of what the shutdown current would be.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Thanks Ryan. The shutdown current will be same as non-switching current in the electrical table (1.2-1.6mA). Regards,
