TPS53353 / rating electricity of resistor

Hello.

I'd like to ask about R6 and R8 resistor of the TPS53353EVM.

Please tell me the rating electricity calculation method of R6 and R8.

TPS53353EVM circuit in the application note was 1/16W resistor.

Customer wants to know the reason why the 1/16W resistor is enough for.

Hi Yusuke,

Good catch! R6 and R8 should be higher package. R8 should be at least 0805 or higher.

Is the rating electricity of R6 and R8 good in 1/16W?

Please tell me the calculating formula of the rating electricity of R6 and R8.

Customer wants to calculate rating electricity of R6 and R8 resister.

I want to know a reason using 1/16W without a calculating formula in R6 and R8.
