Compatibility between UCC28720 and new UCC28722 for 6W USB Charger Reference Design

Hi,

I would like to know if I could use UCC28720 controller instead of UCC28722 in the "6W USB Charger Reference Design" (www.ti.com/tool/PMP9088). 

I know they are not pinout and package compatibles, but I mean if I could use it keeping the other components such us the flyback transformer. Maybe some external components were designed specifically for UCC28722 parameters.

I would appreciate any help. Thank you very much in advance.
