TPS54620 Reference Tolerance

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54620

TPS54620 datasheet shows ±1% voltage reference over temperature.  What is included in the ±1% tolerance?

Is the comparator offset of error op-amp included in the ±1%?  If not, what is the comparator offset of the op-amp?

  • I beleive the refernce is measured / characterized by tying VSENSE to COMP so that the output at COMP is equal to the internal reference.  That voltage is characterized over temerature and operaing parameters as specified in the datasheet.  So the 1% include the reference itself and any offsets associated with that measurement technique.
