Base on circuit of Figure 21, what is the maximum output voltage of VGH can be set?

    Hello NT,

    This is the setup for a voltage tripler.

    In this configuration the maximum output voltage is VGH=Vsup + 2*Vs - Vdrop. Vdrop is the voltage drop across the external diodes and internal charge pump MOSFETs.

    2*Vs because the switch pin of the boost converter is in the range of Vs. Dependent on the output energy necessary you could as well use DRVP instead of SW for C18. The advantage is that the regulation window gets bigger, but the disadvantage is the reduced output current (it is roughly just half as big as with the configuration in Figure 21).
