TPS92210 - PMP7579 - Change in the RC Snubber for Transformer

Dear All,

I am using PMP7579 - TPS92210D for our 18W LED Driver design.

Issue:

We need to change the RC snubber value from 22nF/1KV & 11K/2W to 10nF/1KV by changing the RC Values.

The Schematic is attached.

If you are asking for the R value, I think to keep the RC constant it should be like 24.2KOhm.

Just pay attention not to cause EMI issue.

Hello Victor,

Please confirm the below values are correct.

Previous RC Snubber value for transformer primary - C = 22nF/1KV & R = 11K/2W

Suggest RC Snubber value for transformer primary - C = 10nF/1KV & R = 24.2K/2W

Hello,

The suggested values are correct if you want to keep the RC time constant same as pervious.
