Hello, we have recently purchased 2x UCD3138 PSFB evaluation boards, and would like to obtain the source code.

Are there any examples of code to allow synchronization of two modules?

    Paul,

    I just sent you an email with attached source code and compiled image. With regards to synchronization, While it is possible to do this, we do not have sample code. We have had success with our HSFB EVMs, but with the PSFB there are 6 PWMs that will need to be taken into account. We currently do not have source code for this, but we can definitely help you along your way.

    I remember some time ago you were looking at building a 3-phase PFC. Have you had any success with this? Is the goal to bring the 3-phase PFC output to the PSFB input?

    Hi Brandon,

    originally I was thinking about the 3 phase PFC to source DC for a PSFB. A few more calculations showed that the benefit in our application was going to be minimal (we are not grid connected) and so a passive solution is suitable. Just great big inductors required!

    I'll keep you posted regarding our progress on sync'ing.

    Paul,

    Sounds good. Just remember that active PFC solutions will in most cases give you a much better power factor, and will continue to work under line/load transients, and other dynamic circumstances. Let me know your progress. Thanks!
