I need a boost source that have a 3 - 8 V input and 12V output. The problem is that I need it with very high efficiency for 60mA output current but it also need to work when the output reaches 2A, that will be an alarm in my application, it need to drive a high power radio for the alarm situation, but only for short periods of time (6s).
I am projecting two DC/DC, one for each output current and a logic with shunt resistor and AmpOps that I can plug on the enables. Is there any IC that can reach this by itself?
