DC/DC converter with wide range variable output (approx. 3-53V, max. 3.5A)

I'm looking for suitable PWM controller which could be a core of DC/DC converter with wide range variable output voltage (approx. 3-53V, max. 3.5A). My intention is to use it as preregulator for programmable linear regulator in final stage. Source is isolated 50VAC (toroidal transformer), rectified and filtered with 2x1000uF/100V. I hope that linear regulator could maintain output ripple below 10mV (hopefully below 5mV) over the whole range of 0-50V and 0-3A working as programmable CV (constant voltage) or CC (constant current) source.

Voltage and current setting on preregulator side will be with offset to values set in final stage (i.e. 13V for 10V output, or 2.1A for 2A output, etc.).

    I found that LM5118 could be a nice candidate for my design. There is a two other controllers: LM5116 and LM5088. Currently I have an real issue WEBENCH to possibly explore a little bit more LM5118. Also have problem with importing its PSPICE model in to TINA-TI V9 downloaded from this site. Any suggestion how to proceed in exploring right solution?
