According to datasheet, soft start capacitor value should be lower than 0.47uF.
From terms of reducing inrush current I would like to use a 0.47uF capacitor (with 20% tolerance).
I would like to better understand the reason for the capacitor value limitation and also need to know whether the 0.47uF capacitor I would like to use is OK.
Design details are:
Vin = 32V-42V
Vout = 8.8V
Iout,max = 150mA
f =200KHz
L = 100uH
Working mode: discontinuous
Converter is used as an auxiliary supply in a controller board with several high power DC/DC converters.
