Startup problem in low temperature

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61040

Hi,

TPS61040 is used to generate +-9V for analog amplifiers. The input voltage of the dc/dc is 5V, the input current of 5V is about 70mA during normal temperature. But if the circuit in -10oC, it does not work properly. The output of 9v is only about 5V. Is there any error in the design?

  • I'm not find the error in your schematic. if ouput voltage is 5V, it seem the device didn't switch or very small duty cycle. may be you could debug the circuit step by step. firstly disconnect C38 and see if the circuit can operate at -10oC.

    thanks
