Hi,I have designed a board with a TPS71818-33 (DRV package) (in respect of datasheet). The board is powered by a 4.2V battery. OUT1 is always on.I have got the following problem: when I switch on OUT2, OUT2 = 3.3V so it's OK but when I want switch off OUT2, OUT2 = 2.4V and the current raises up to 70mA ( When OUT 2 is on, the current is only 10mA).I don't know what is the cause of this problem but I have an idea: when I have designed the board, I forgot the thermal pad in the footprint. On the datasheet, I saw the thermal pad is connected to GND. On my board, the 4.2V track goes under the thermal pad. My board is varnished so I think my problem comes from this. Before redesigning the board, I need to know if my problem comes from the thermal pad.
Thank you for your reply,
