UCD9242 FLT

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCD9224

I am using the UCD9224 together with UCD7242s that gives two different output voltages. For the 3V3 I am using the UCD7242s in parallell in the way that they are controlled by PWM channel 1A with the FLT outputs via an OR to FLT1-A on the 9224.

My problem right now is that at the when current is active the  FLT outputs from the 7242 are active whereby 9224: an shuts down its PWM output. According to the data sheet for the 7242 the way around this behavior is to clear the register for  the FLT output  to be able to continue PWM  because it is at the PWM edge the 7242 check if the failure mode is still present. While the failure mode is present the 7242 will internally short the PWM pulse to not break.

How do I get the 9224 to continue sending out its PWM signal?
