UCC28070A as a DC/DC boost?

Hi,

     Vin=100V-300Vdc, Vout=400Vdc/3000W. If using PFC controller UCC28070A to design this power supply, what is the difference with DC/DC boost controller? Is there any risk?

    This device is almost identical to the UCC28070 except it can run at lower switching frequencies.  There are many posts on this forum that recommend against using it in a DC to DC application.  For the device to work correctly VINAC needs to see a rectified sine wave.
