UCC28180 current loop compensation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28180

Hello

Could you shed some light on UCC28180 current loop compensation. You can see from datasheet that there is transconductance amplifier gmi with capacitor added to it´s output.

This is type-1 error amplifier and it´s transfer funtion is gmi/(s*Cicomp). It has pole at origin, so it should have constant -20 dB gain per decade and 90 ° phase lag from DC. Datasheet says that Cicomp sets pole to higher frequency, so the above block diagram is over simplified or datasheet´s pole equation (102) is wrong.

Best regards,
