UCC2804D, COMP pin

Hi,

how does the COMP pin work? On datasheet I see that it's the output of the error amplifier, but it's not specified if the latter is a true amplifer with low output impedance. How can I take advantage of the COMP pin in a current mode control?

Hi,

thanks for the suggestion. UCC2804D is an old device, application note refers to another more recent family.

Is it valid in any case for UCC2804D?

Hi,

It will depend on your need.

If you just want to study or test on the power, of course you can use it when you have no other parts on hand.

But we suggest you using other family for new product design.
