I develope a circuit with a bq20z95 and i purchase it, but they send me the BQ20z951 the BQ easy read this but he don't allow write into them, there is an other tool to programe the BQ20z951?

    We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you and we will have to find where this problem originated in our processes. Please clarify whether the bq20z951 was sent to you as a discrete component or on the bq20z95 EVM. Is the device symbolized as a z951 or do you read the firmware version with the bqEVSW? Where did you place our order for this material? TI website or from a distributor? Please specify which distributor.

    I can ship a new EVM to you tomorrow, if the problem is with the EVM. Please provide an email address where we can follow-up with you in either case.

    the BQ90z951 was a discrete component, the device simbolice z951 and the firmware is also the 951, previously bought the chips at mouser electronics and never had problems but now i buy some components with a seller in China, but in this case they sent the 951, I buy other z95 chips in mouser again because I need, but I want to know if z951 can be programmed to use them.

    Roberto,

    If the parts are symbolized properly and have to correct firmware in them, then you will need to return these devices to your distributor and they can replace them with the devices that you ordered. These devices cannot be programmed with bq20z95 firmware.
