We are applying the TI LM5009. I have detailed schematics and BOM to show the circuit we have constructed. This is based on the applications data from the TI web bench and the Data sheet.
For one reason that eludes my team, this device is running extremely hot and reaching thermal shut down within 30 seconds or less after power is applied. The output is very unstable. I am more than happy to share schematics and BOMs.
We have over $3K USD tied up in a sample project. My team is lean and this represents a substantial amount of money for us. What seems like a simple application of the LM5009 has brought us to a stand still.
