With EVM, there have I/O pin & H/W option selecte for OTG control.
Shall we switch off PMID output via I2C(SW) with battery only(non charging mode)?

I am not sure if I understand your question from your post so let me know if the information below answers your questions.
Are you wanting to know if there is a hardware shutoff for the PMID boost voltage or are you asking what is the best way of enabling and disabling the PMID boost?
The 4 criteria must be met to enable the boost on PMID. OTG must be high so pulling this pin low would disable the PMID boost and the I2C registers must be set to enable the boost feature to PMID.
