we are using a battery pack which contains the bq20z60 as its fuel gauge. I am wanting to read the extended SBS command StateOfHealth register, but the device is in the sealed mode from the battery pack manufacturer. The extended SBS command OperationStatus register reports 0xE043 from which we can determine that the SS sealed bit is set.
If I do a read of the StateOfHealth register I do get a sensible value back, 0x62 which equates to 98%. When I do a read of other 'unaccessible in sealed mode' registers it always gives me the same value as I had previously read back from ManufacturingAccess, but for the StateOfHealth register it gives me the same reasonable 0x62 value regardless of what was read from ManufacturingAccess.
It seems to me like I do have access to read StateOfHealth register despite being in sealed mode, can anyone confirm this?
