Can TPS55340 be operated by the following power supply specification?

More than input voltage 9.1V is through.

Vin 2.9V - 16V

Vout 9.1V

Iout 1.1A

I'm not sure I understand the requirements. Will this be used as a boost topology? If so, are are you asking about the condition when VIN > VOUT?

If this is your question, yes this is ok for the TPS55340 but the output voltage will increase with VIN. In this scenario, the input will be passed to the output through the inductor and schottky diode.
