Team,
Can you please help me to find the data that shows the maximum reflow time frame at 260C? Customer found the max temp of 260C for solder reflow, but was not able to find the associated tiemframe. Thank you in advance.

I do apologize for not putting in the full part number: LM3481MM/NOPB
Thank you,
The PE says that 220C for 15 seconds is our spec. The 260C number is the peak package temperature, and must not be exceeded. Not sure how long it can be at 260C.

Thanks Frank, can you help me to find someone who knows what the spec if for how long it can be at 260C? Thanks!
Hi Jarrett,
To answer your question above regarding how long it can be at 260C, there is no time duration being specified at 260C . 260C is the peak body temperature that the package can sustain and therefore, it's not recommended to do solder reflow at 260C because it could cause damage to the package. 220C for 15s is the recommended solder reflow in the datasheet. Hope it answers your question.
Regards,
Roger
