I am considering using the TPS61230 DC-DC converter in a new design, but when the load is light the IC operates in PFM mode. When in PFM mode, the switching is slower and thus seems to put audible noise on an attached speaker.
Is it possible to always run in PWM mode, or are there any suggestions in how to quiet this switching noise during a light load?
