Phase shift full bridge converter

Usually an inductor is placed in series with the primary, to get ZVS.

The question is if it is not enough to get a resonant transition with the magnetizing current of the transformer. If needed, this current can be increasead by an airgap.

A problem with the external inductor is that the connecting point with the transformer oscillates with the parasitic inductance of the primary.
