I'm trying to determine a simple way to choose an electrolytic output capacitor for the LP2951 at 3.3 and 15V. Regular electrolytics give only maximum DF at 120Hz (DF not defined within any limit), and low impedance electrolytics give a maximum impedance at 100kHz. How do I determine where to choose the frequency in order to determine the Xc in order to determine the final impedance and ESR? The LP2951 datasheet is not clear about this. Can somebody at TI please simply. I have in past used between 4.7 to 100uF low-impedance electrolytics that have a maximum 100kHz impedance between about 1.5 ohms and 0.25 ohms. Need to confirm /simplify this.
