I am using BQ25504 in my energy harvesting application and I have a condition to which I am not able to figure what would BQ25504 do.
CONDITION : **VIN_DC = 250mV, VBAT = VSTOR = 3.8V. External components LBST = 22 µH, CHVR = 4.7 µF CSTOR= 4.7 µF.
QUESTON : Would BQ25504 switch ON the main boost converter or the less efficient cold start mode?
NOTES:
I found that according to the datasheet it must work in the normal operation mode; boost converter mode.
But I need a clarification.
As explained on the data sheet on page 13 title of last paragraph,
Boost Converter, Charger Operation (VSTOR > VSTOR_CHGN and VIN_DC > VIN(DC)-MIN)
