About the calculation of the power dissipation at no-load;

Foe example,TPS54340 Data sheet 30 page,  I think forrow calculation method.

Ptot=PGD + PQ

    Hi Satoshi,

    That's right, these are the two main power losses in the IC to consider. However the PGD won't be so straight forward as the device will be operating in Eco-mode causing it to skip switching cycles. Less switching cycles will reduce the PGD loss.

    Are you trying to understand the power losses in the IC only or the entire power supply?
