May I know why BQ24751A is not recommend for the new design?

Why recommend to use BQ24725A? What's benefit of BQ24725A and better than BQ24751A

    Hello Kai,

    A few of the reasons for migrating to the BQ24725A are the following:

    -Smaller package migrating to a 20-pin QFN

    -Lower Quiescent Currents

    -Multiple Switching Frequency options in case certain harmonics must be avoided.

    -Higher Switching Frequency resulting in smaller inductor and filtering capacitors.

    -Less Expensive

    These are just a few of the positive benefits of migrating to the BQ24725A. This is on top of the support available for this active device as compared to a device nor recommended for new designs.
