Please, clarify which purposes has J8 on BQ28Z560EVM?

    The USB mini-AB connector is just an alternate connection for the I2C and HDQ communication pins; it combines both communication buses into one connector, but do note that only one mode can be used at a time, and if you use HDQ mode you cannot go back and use the I2C interface again.
