Hi,

bq24195 is having two modes: default and host.

If registers settings has been changed in host mode, will they be maintained even after bq24195 has powered down (no VBUS and battery)? Or in another words, will the bq24195 starts to operate in previous registers settings on next power on?

The IC will reset if all power is removed. If battery is present, then it will retain memeory.

In the scenario of the battery is present and continue to drain (due to leakage current): until which threshold level will the register settings still retain (assuming the PCM of battery does not cut off)?

The data sheet indicates 2.3V, for battery power only, is there the I2C will no longer function.

Often the battery pack protector opens up around 2.5V, dropping the battery voltage to zero.
