LM22676 abnormal operation above 10VLM

Hi,

I'm using the LM22676MR-ADJ is a design and really struggle to get it working properly.

I disconnected it from the rest of the circuit so no current should be drawn.

The IC works fine up to 10V input. Above that it starts drawing lots of current (up to 300mA @ 12V).

I haven't been able to identify the reason, maybe someone you have a solution

Find attached the schematic, let me know if you need anything else.

  • Hi Gauthier,

I need some more information to help diagnose what's going on. Can you please provide:

    Vin range,

    Vout

    Iout

    and application

Also please share your layout with us if possible. If your design is confidential or sensitive, then send an email to a*n*s*t*o*n[at]ti[dot]com (remove the *, prevents spam)

    Thanks,

    Anston

  • Hi Anston,

    Thanks for your reply.

I fixed the issue, the EN pin was tied directly to VIN. From the datasheet, the maximum voltage to apply on EN is 6V. I lifted the pin and have no more issues.

    Thanks you
