Chemistry Identification - appended log files

Hello everybody,

I'm using bq20z95EVM to evaluate the right chemistry ID for my LiPoly, 1p3s, 2000mAh, 3.7V battery pack.

1) I've tried to modify the entire log (book1.xlsx)2234.Book1.xlsx into a "smoother" version (book3.xlsx) 2844.Book3.xlsx and, putting data into MathCad, it gives me the ID 1164.

Could someone, please, be so kind to review my analysis and give me a feedback about the ID chosen?

2) Currently I've finished all the learning cycles (Update Status is 06), with the default chem id = 0100. Should I reflash with the right ID and repeat all the learning cycles?

Hi Giuseppe,

yesterday was a holiday here in US.

I just had a look at your two files, why is the discharge not a smooth line but has many interuptions. The battery discharge data you had me to look at several weeks ago only had one bad patch of readings but with this latest data I am not sure it is worth spnding time to analyze it. Can you repeat the discharge? Is this the same cell we looked at before. I understood you were going to try 1238 , did that not work out well?

Hi Mike,

I'm sorry, I wasn't noticed about the holiday.

The battery pack is the same but it has, now, different settings (for example the charging current is set on 1000mA instead of 2000mA). That's the reason why I've repeated the test.
