I am attempting to use the bq34z110 for a Powersonic PS-12260 Sealed Lead Acid battery, AGM type. It is the 12v(6 cell) 26 Amp hour version. See attached file. This looks to be well within the specs for the bq34z110. Are there any issues with this type of battery that I should be aware of. Also has anyone already done a bqChem profile for this battery.

    Tim,

     You should be able to gauge that battery with the bq34z110, although you will need to use 2x scaling. There is a bug in the released FW that will not allow the Passed Charge to increment above 16383 mAh. We can characterize your battery. Please provide an email address and I will send a list of the items that you will need to submit. You can also collect discharge data and I will check for a ChemID match using a Mathcad program. Reference the attached file for guidelines to collect the data.
