UCD3138 jumped from programming mode(flash) to rom mode

Did you write the program checksum? if not, UCD3138 will back to ROM mode if it was powered off and powered on again.

No, we don't write the checksum; we want to know if there is any soft reset that could cause UCD3138  to jump from program mode to rom mode(without checksum)? by soft reset I mean not power off or manually reset by Reset pin;

there are four cases which can cause UCD3138 reset

1. Power off;

2. Reset pin was pulled low;

3. Command "D9"

4. illegal address or instructions

1\Could you explain more about illegal address or instructions? I mean the program downloaded to UCD3138 should already have been checked by the compiler;

2\If there is illegal address or instructions, reset happens,would UCD3138 jumps from programming mode to rom mode without checksum?
