Dear Sir

Good days,

We follow BQ24170 page 6 schematic, use Adapter wall in 5V and connect Vbatt to electronic load(set in null load condition).

and find Vbatt voltage can't fixed in 4.2V. it show voltage from 4.1V~4.2V.

This kind status is normal? or someting component set we can check?

    Hello Bogey,

    I am not sure I understand what the loading case is that you are talking about. How does the "null load condition" operate?

    Here are few questions to possibly help narrow down what could be the issue:

    -What is the charging current and how much impedance exists the SRP & SRN pins of the charger and the load?

    -Are you in the constant current portion of the charge cycle or the constant voltage portion? If the charger is outputting the full charging current it is most likely in constant current meaning that the BAT voltage will be below the regulation voltage until the "battery" charges more fully.
