Hi,

I need a power source (not power supply), 20-30V in, 5-400V out, 200W. I guess to use a flyback topology, multiphase and searching for an sofisticated controller cause:

Need constant current operation

Need limiting the input current to 8A, reducing the output power at low input voltage ..

Monitore the input voltage (battery supply)

Need to set the output current in a very wide range

My plan: Buying a control card EVM for the UDC3138, wrapping up my power stages and start working.

My questions: Is the UDC3138 usable for flyback and multiphase flyback, is there a better chip out of this family and which control card EVM is the correct one?
