Hello, I need a 3-cell balance standalone part. I found for 2 cell and for >4 cell.

Does this part exist?

Adina,

Our multi-cell gauging devices provide cell balancing features, but they are not strictly balancers. Do you need gauging and protection as well?

Thank you for your answer. I need just the balancing feature, something like the bq77pl900 that has a stand-alone balancing algorithm.

The PL900 will not support less than 5 cells standalone and we do not have other devices that would fit this cell balancing requirement.

Hi,

Sorry for digging out an old thread, but I'm looking for the same thing and thought maybe new products came out in the mean time?
I'm looking for an equivalent to the bq2158 board (also for 3 cells).

Any replacement?

We do not have a direct replacement for the bq2158 and just provides protection. Our gauges provide this feature along with gauging. You could use one of them and not use the gauging feature. You could use the bq4050 or bq40z50-R1 device.
