what is PMIC RTC. is it necessary to use.

if 5v boost dc dc converter is not needed then how it should be terminated. should it be kept open?

PMIC RTC is the real time clock that keeps the calander and date data stored in the PMIC even when the platform is off , given back battery is present to the PMIC.
