NC Pins on TPS7A7002

Hi,

In the TPS7A7002 datasheet (Rev November 2013) it is mentioned that the NC pins should be connected to large-area planes. Since they are not electrically connected, is it fine if they are connected to a ground plane? (It is mentioned explicitly for the PowerPad, but not for the NC pins - so I just want to verify before we have the board manufactured).

Hi,

The NC pins are not internally connected as you state. As such, these can be tied to ground. We recommend that these pins are tied to large-area planes such as a ground plane.
