Hi
We would like to use the TPS7A4701 with a soft start time shorter than 65ms.
Is is possible to use a 0.1uF Cnr capacitor?
What influence we get on PSSR and on Noise and soft-start time?

Hi Reiner,
It is possible to use a 0.1uF Cnr capacitor. Figures 11 and 12 in the datasheet give an indication of how Cnr effects PSRR.
Start-up will be faster as you do not need to charge as fast of a capacitor. Due to the low noise architecture, the start-up equation is much more complex than a more traditional LDO architecture. A great way to test out TPS7A4701 is to use TPS7A4701EVM-094. With the EVM you can see how TPS7A4701 operates in your system and can easily experiment with the trade-offs of adjusting capacitors.
Very Respectfully,
Ryan
