DFI format

Hi,

Is the format of the DFI considered propriety? The reason i want to know is for planning for the implementation of fuel gauge programming by our own firmware. in this case, it would be ideal if we could transfer the DFI file to our product Over The Air (OTA) and use it for updates to the fuel gauge.
