Hi All,
Is there a way to reset the Lifetime data as the pack is deployed? Otherwise the high currents, etc. during testing will be recorded forever and lower currents in the field will not be visible.
Thank you,
Jeremy.

Jeremy,
You cannot reset the Lifetime parameters on the bq20z series. You should reset them in the golden file. You can then load the golden file into a new pack and then calibrate the new pack before issuing the IT Enable command. Lifetime data collection begins after IT has been started.

Thanks Tom - I tried modifying the Golden file, but it appears to be in a binary format and not easily edited. I tried modifying a gg fie and writing it to the DF, but following the write, the previous values are restored. Do I need to issue a reset first? I tried sending 00 to 0041 - is this correct?
Jeremy,
You will not be able to edit the senc file, but you should be able to change the Lifetime parameters using the bqEVSW or a gg file. You may not be able to change them after IT has been enabled. You should not have to issue a reset (41) command. You will not be able to change the parameter, if a PF fault is present.

Tom,
You've nailed it... I had a PF flag set (SOV), from an earlier attempt to wake the pack by momentarily connecting an external supply.
I am now abe to edit gg files with notepad, read them into bqEasy and then write them to the guage.
Thanks again,
Jeremy.
