I have a Xilinx AC701 FPGA board that uses some UCD90120ARGC devices for the various voltages needed by the board. I needed to reprogram one of these chips to modify a GPIO line, so I bought the TI USB adapter, plugged it into the board, and was able to see the configuration of the devices using Fusion Digital Power Designer. I made my adjustment in the software, and clicked the button to write to the hardware. It started writing, because I could see the status messages going by, but it was really slow. I had no idea how long this should take, but after an hour, I searched online and saw a bug report on the Xilinx website. It stated that when the USB adapter was plugged in, the power LEDS on the board would not light, and I needed to update the firmware on the USB adapter. I was hesitant to do this while it was still writing to the device, but after almost three hours, I stopped it and updated the firmware. This fixed the problem with the LEDs, but now, the software does not see the UCD90120ARGC devices. When I start up the software, it displays: No Devices Found! It is talking to the USB adapter, but it can't see the chips. Did I corrupt the chips by stopping the update after 3 hours?
